ITTY BABY YOGA
Mommy & Baby Yoga Classes
Yoga sessions for pre-crawling or newly mobile infants are fun and helpful, both for moms and babies. Baby Yoga not only aids in development, but also helps them get used to incorporating yoga into their daily routine. Baby Yoga helps babies to stretch, become more flexible, increase their coordination, muscle tone, balance, and more! It's also great to grow sensory processing and gives the baby more of a sense of spatial awareness.
Mommy and Me Yoga Classes
Yoga classes for toddlers (crawlers to 3 yrs old) facilitate a sensational way for moms to explore natural movement with their little ones during this foundational stage. These yoga classes are supportive, fun-loving and active. During a Toddler Yoga class, crawlers and walkers playfully practice yoga postures while they are standing, sitting up, walking, and jumping.
Yoga for children 4 to 7
Yoga for preschoolers is filled with laughter and fun. These are usually focused on the introduction of yoga basics and yogic breathing techniques.
Yoga is SO important and necessary for preschoolers. Most people know yoga is great for relaxation and emotional regulation, but they might not know that it is also crucial for brain growth. That’s right: yoga can help your preschooler learn to read and write!
Yoga for children 8-12
Yoga for Kids classes include movement, mindfulness, and breath work -just like adult classes- but are presented in a fun kid-friendly manner. Kids Yoga help all children balance their nervous systems and stay healthy, mentally and physically. It also helps build lifelong skills from the inside-out, teaching children to recognize their present state, label the sensations in their bodies, and build a tool chest of coping skills to choose behaviors and responses that bring them back to balance in a healthy, sustainable way.
